Renovations and Building Muskoka in the City conducts home renovations and building projects using the “Greenovations” principle of incorporating environmentally responsible solutions where possible. “Greenovations” use LEED principles (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) in design and construction. Consideration is given to minimizing site disturbance, selecting “green” materials, improving air quality, minimizing water, using less energy and encompassing unique solutions. We do this by carefully planning projects, reviewing material sources, sourcing local - both suppliers and recycling centres, using only what resources needed – not ordering large surpluses.
